I mostly agree with you, but I think the funny thing is that most people wanted some little part of Project 2025/the Trump agenda. Like, they hate immigrants, or want porn banned, but very few are actually onboard with *all* of it. I think that will be the big issue, but time will tell.

We need to curtail their efforts to reassign responsibility for how bad it is about to become. The fallout from how the tariffs backfired during the Great Depression directly lead to FDR and the gains that made the New Deal possible. History is repeating. We need to not let the suffering be in vain.

Agree. I think it’s inevitable that great damage is going to be done to our economy. I just hope we prevent them from avoiding ownership of the consequences of their policies. So afterwards when the pendulum swings back we retake Congress with a large enough margin to accomplish lasting solutions.
