I have been wondering since watching this and previous one on the BF 110: Did the BF 110 actually meet the requirements/demands the Luftwaffe expected of the Zerstörer concept? For example, although longer ranged than the BF 109, it appears short ranged compared with other (later?) Heavy fighters.

To be fair, when the Bf110 development started, state of the art was the Gloster Gladiator.
