True! I got thrown out of a party in 2018 for calling it occupied Palestine by a self described liberal who I had known since I was 14! My well to do “progressive” peers have been pissed off at me for as long as I’ve been beating that drum, on this and many other leftwing causes.

The Heritage operation is notable, but I think this lets too many people off the hook. People were suggesting critics of Israel supported terrorism well before October 7th. It was a bipartisan effort and a normal part of American politics.
