I say it all the time, but board games are art! I recently rearranged my shelves to show off some cover art, and I love how it looks. How do you arrange yours?

I love it and it works really well with your shelf. I did the same with a Kallax, hiding smaller games behind the typical Ticket to Ride square boxes. // Daniel
I am not going to lie. I used 2 Kallax back to back, like in a library, increasing the size of the „inner chamber“ behind the two outer games. These divided my work space from the storage part of the room.
Here’s a disastrous messy pic. Working on reorganizing yet again. This is a tiny fraction of the collection, eventually I’ll take a nice picture of the whole thing 😅
Honestly, it's why I don't like these particular shelves for game storage - I know they're popular with some, but I find it makes it nearly impossible to organize well and kind of creates more mess and chaos than they help solve. And I have too many game boxes that won't fit well in those.
That looks nice! I have our collection in three different locations. In the cafe area around the kitchen I have placed the traditional games. In the backyard pub I have social party type games and in the living room I have placed the newer modern style games.
Our home is very micro-spaced. We love hosting hangouts and our friends always comment how they enjoy the different spaces we’ve created, both inside and outside of the house. BTW I really like how you have those boxes displayed. You’re right, it’s very cool to see the art.
I'd love to do that, but with the size of my collection it would take more space than I have on my game room walls :) So, it's horizontal stacks on custom built shelves, in roughly alphabetical order, with party/casual games in their own section.

I used brackets and magnets to mount them so they are removable to play.
The board game was out of print for a while while they launched the card game version, but I think they did a new printing.
Then, at the top is a very strong magnet. I tape a metal plate in the bottom of each game and the magnet holds them upright.
It's all a little silly, but I like the result, and they've held for a year now without any accidents!
It's perfect for board gaming and ttRPG sessions.

As I'm downsizing a lot, any semblance of organization is gone. And as I'll be moving soon, I'll redo it all then.
