to me, the “I” in AI matters. a token predictor isn’t intelligent. ML used to train an LLM fits under AI academically, sure, but the output model isn’t “intelligent.”
NLP-to-code is a great use case. but replacing engineers implies system-level understanding, which LLMs are not capable of.

i'm taking issue with the marketing term that makes way for misleading articles like this one. the average layman doesn't understand the nuance.
