It's reaction to the SC judgement was weak at best but I had hoped they'd come out with strong opposition after completing their "review". Clearly not so I've cancelled my retired-members Direct Debit.

I wonder if it's left over from the Serwotka days, must still be folk there loyal to him. His wife Ruth is one of the Woman's Place UK hate cult leaders. There was a lot of underhanded & hidden influence pre 2019 when Mark was leading the PCS. I would imagine some transphobic elements were lined up.

Mark Serwotka's support for the trans community has always been 'iffy'. His partner is prominent GC Ruth Serwotka. Back in 2018 he signed a Fairplay for Women petition!! However, this was PCS's position in 2017. Which, I guess, begs the question as to what on earth's happened to them since then? 😒

*Apologies - Correction: Mark Serwotka actually signed a petition by A Woman's Place, which was another prominent GC group back in 2018, and his partner Ruth Serwotka was one of the leaders. At the time, myself and a trans friend queried him on it irl and he gave us a neutral sort of explanation.

Motion A57 was removed from the agenda after taking legal advice the standing orders committee removed this motion from the conference and are refusing to allow it to be put back in.
