Because they’re the easiest to attack I guess, invisible disabilities have always been looked upon differently. Plus they’re the least understood, particularly by non-medics.
Exactly! Like for me my mental health has made my physical health so much. Being housebound due to mental health will do that to you. It’s never made sense to me why we even separate mental health from physical. The brain is a physical thing.
I have several physical problems- atrial fibrillation, lymphoedema,Barrett's oesophagus,premature osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis,low vit d, reduced mobility. Mental health schizophrenia/schizoaffective , severe social anxiety.
