It’s unfortunate as it was not found until it was stage four in the bones, which means that it’s metastatic, which is not good.

Also maybe you MIGHT have to make sure, even though this makes you uncomfortable, that said older man, possibly your dad, knows that a prostate cancer diagnosis and/or its treatments do not inevitably create treatment-resistant ED, which is a major reason men avoid diagnosis and treatment.

Also! Get regular colonoscopies!!! My dad’s PSA levels were fine. Only found the (vey aggressive) prostate cancer before it fully metastasized because the Dr. that performed my dad’s colonoscopy thought he felt/saw something irregular in his exam.
