This month includes reads from @allisonjo1.bsky.social on an accoustics lab in a nuclear reactor,
@nicktriolo.bsky.social walked 20 miles around America's largest Superfund site,
@abandonedamerica.bsky.social on a PA ghost town, &
@frasermacdonald.bsky.social on compost:
This month’s featured artist is Charles Brooks, whose Architecture in Music series is a wonder. I’ve chosen his stunning image of a 1755 Guadagnini violin as this month’s image, shared with permission. I played violin for years, and the beauty of the photo really struck me.
And as always, a big thanks to @mikeachim.bsky.social who helps monthly to convert links to hyperlinks, allowing me to keep CAE going despite an active spinal CSF leak.
Couldn’t have gotten to 50 editions of my newsletter without him!
sounds like you need to see Dr. Wouter Schievink at Cedars Sinai in L.A.!! He repaired our 44yo daughter's CSF leak at T3 last year! first choice was repair of the dura mater with a graft of back muscle, second choice was gluing it. great success! good luck.
Jodi's actually the President of the Spinal CSF Leak Foundation, so I reckon she's probably aware of him already! https://spinalcsfleak.org/about-us/our-leadership/ As she said in her comment below, it's more about her unique circumstances making things extra-tricky...
