QUESTION! Hello! By any chance do you know if this is dogbane or asclepias? I allowed it to spread for pollinators. It has off-white flowers.

🌱Can be difficult to tell tell at some growth stages between related Asclepias (Milkweed) & Apocynum (Dogbane). But based on your description of the flowers, if they look like this, you likely have Apocynum cannabinum (Common Dogbane). Not sure your location but native & common here in Chicagoand.😎

Thank you! It's a pretty plant and it has spread over the years. If insects make use of it I won't disturb it. It does have some height, too. It doesn't have a red tint to branches, though. I'm in Missouri. Will take pictures as it grows.

🌱LOL😅 no, 'Stainless' is a good guy he plays nice in the sandbox with the other Daffodils.😎 Plenty of awards to go around. But has been recognized for historic influence & and significance - a major breakthrough in showbench & garden quality when the late Mr. Duncan introduced it 65 years ago.😃
