Thanks for clarifying. That makes sense. I agree that using the LLM is part of the job anyway, so I am not someone who believes the interviews have to be completely free of those tools. I think the baseline for interviews is understanding the person's thinking and process.

Using an LLM is fine, after all they have liberal access to it during the job.
We judge based on the content of the response. You can have the LLM generate a good answer, and a bad answer, just as you could on the job.
