I think it works really well for what I use it for, which is mainly puzzle games (Picross, Tetris) or retro stuff.

Its pretty alright. If im playing a fighting game im definitely using it over the joycons faux-dpad

Almost forgot, there’s no rumble and no motion support if either of those are deal breakers.

I really like them and it’s the only way I play portable Switch. D-pad is better than most options I’ve tried,including the Hori JoyCons with the pad. I have big hands and the Split Pad is perfect. if anything, I wish the grips had some more rubber or were a little bit more curved for more comfort

I use my Switch almost exclusively for Puyo Puyo Tetris. This D-pad works very, very well for it. It may take a little breaking in.
