So, I auditioned for a local production of Sartre's "No Exit" last night.
I really expected to get a callback.
But she cast me in the room.
Freaky.
Other than readers' theatre & voiceovers, this will be my first acting role in over a decade.
5 performances, 2 weekends - short & sweet run.

There's a Japanese theatre tradition much like "Break a Leg" in Western theatre. Everyone on stage & behind it asks the others to "take care of me.”
Especially true where you're on stage the whole time with "No Exit".
Congratulations!
And congrats!
Hurrah for you and this lovely return to un-ironic reality!”
I felt this play was the basis of that wonderful show The Good Place.
New and don't know your work, but felt you had to be theater (as opposed to, just, "drama")! Break a leg.
