My brother was a public school teacher in a city where the entire city's public districts lost there accreditation so many parents were looking for schools to send their children that would count toward future.I was of the opinion that vouchers could drain resources from schools that need them. 2/

However,I have friends that feel like not giving families choice to attend other schools is insulting to the families that value education but can't afford Private/Prep/Charter schools. Which is valid point. I guess I just feel like if everyone flees public education it will suffer even more 3/

I sent my kids to public school. I could of sent them to a private school or a prep school but I wanted my children to feel all the richness life had to offer. (not just white bread if you get my drift)
Also what are some good prescriptions to provide best education to every child here in the US 4/

My brother explained it to me that the kids that are left in public schools will not only lose the funding that goes with them but also just the inspiration they can be to students that may not have parents at home with the ability to get them to a charter school across town. 5/

However, again I can also see the feeling that parents should be able to pick the education they want for their children and if that is prep school and there kid can handle curriculum they should be able to attend. My brother said the wealthy and religious will just build new schools 6/

The retort my friends would say to that is, "let them". So again I don't know what the answers are but I care.

What is the best way to insure that schools are well funded? I understand the theory behind property taxes and i have no problems paying mine for that purpose but is it best way? 7/
