Do *you* know how reality tv works? Raw emotions/drama/spectacle are the reasons we watch reality tv.. even if it’s cringe… why do you think they showed us David standing up when Mary went home? That was unbearable to watch but I couldn’t look away.. for Joe they are adding layers to his storyline.

It’s part of his story too🤨 it’s his sister it’s a loss he experienced that deeply affected him.. and it’s a taboo issue that a lot of people in relationships experience but don’t to want talk about, or even feel like they can talk about it for fear of retaliation.

My aunt died from an od when I was 15 and it still has a lasting effect on me to this day! Some deaths can completely alter your life path so saying they shouldn’t show it only denies us the opportunity to understand him, how he ended up on survivor and his motive to play..

No, but that doesn't matter. The matter is you complaining about someone sharing their backstory that is their main driving motivation for playing the game. It's up to the players to share intricate details about such things but we're not to judge these things.
