I think if you are going to label a blocklist as DeSantis supporters *and encourage people to follow it* to filter out DeSantis supporters, you should make sure the people on the list actually fit that description.

Otherwise, you should change the list description and name to be clear about it.

Yeah that’s what I mean, like it’s fine to block people you simply dislike, but this seems like putting them on a list with a misleading label to trick other people into blocking them. Which isn’t cool to the people who might subscribe to it.

I'm on the list because I (accurately) pointed out that Rebekah Jones's Twitter account had some weird follower activity *three years ago*, which in her version of reality means I deserve endless lies and harassment from her and her friends.

Yeah your post was what made me check other accounts on the list and see that it’s clearly mislabeled.

Like I said, if she wants to block you that seems fine, but to put someone on a list with a false label is lying to people who might subscribe to the list

1. None of these are obvious false flags, and
2. The list owner is responsible for making sure the list is accurate. They owe that to the list subscribers. If people are included because of the mere possibility of a false flag without any actual evidence, that should be disclosed.

I noticed as well. I looked at some of the accounts profiles and replies. Not all are MAGA or pro-Desantis. I am confused. I remember who she is and her bravery. But what are you doing with this list? If you personally don’t like someone, fine block them. But a list should have real meaning.

There’s 1 maga & the rest are dem accounts, some of which are critical of YOU (not desantis).

Probably better to address directly than seem like you’re out for retribution. ✌️
