only downside on pc is it's expensive and can be complicated if you want to upgrade. (Then there comes the option of pre-builts, though they could be even higher in pricing.)

Then you have the issue of Crossplay (depending on the company. ex, Bandai with Sparking Zero, Db: fighterz, and Xenoverse)

Crossplay isn't more of an issue on PC vs console. That seems very community specific. Yes, pc vs a single box is more complicated. But ultimately $70 a year for playstation online or whatever will add up.

Not likely. Too small for the disc tray and its exclusive to the (some types) Wii and gamecube, and the Disc readers are also from different companies.

so Unless they have the exact same model or supports those disks, it wont work.
