As a Brit watching American news channels to better understand U.S. politics, I’m always struck by the sheer number of medical commercials. It’s so alien to see pharmaceutical companies advertising directly to the public. Maybe that’s part of the problem with U.S. healthcare.

Instead, the USA is FAILING in maternal healthcare.
In Spain, we have a fair amount of branded medicines advertised online but doctors supply the generic brand. I am very happy with that.
Rather have companies pay fair share of taxes!
Yes, it is huge problem and hasn’t solved any health issues, imho.
USA=Accountants, Attorneys, and numerous Insurance lobbyists.
We had a systemic healthcare problem before they started allowing pharmaceutical ads on television.
That coupled with the insane trickle down theory started the rise of Mega Corporations
