Exactly. They were going to do it anyway, so then Trump & Vance made this ridiculous scene and used that an excuse. Meanwhile Zelenskyy showed himself to be the true leader.

Well, most of the people I know—my friends & my town—are liberal to very liberal. We're angry and embarrassed. We feel like this is yet another core US principle that has gone by the wayside: standing by one's allies & defending democracy. Trump seems to be all-in for dictatorship at home & abroad.
