I should watch his videos and take notes. I think the scene needs more watch partiers/people willing to break down gameplay and/or storylines to make it digestible

Yeah his videos strike a very good ground of being entertaining, informational, and showing what comp pokemon has to offer. He’s had lots of good videos covering rises and falls of specific mons, fun archetypes to use, etc. And he’s really the only one I’ve seen that has done it so successfully
I think wolfey's videos have the best entertainment and reach to more casual audiences (while he's still the goat player wise, massive list of accomplishments sheesh)
On the less edited but still good content side there's ck49 doing interviews where players will talk about their teams (1/4)
And youtubers like Cybertron (Aaron Zheng), James Baek, MichaelDerBeste, etc (I will be here all day listing vgc yts, and that's not even going into more singles focused content like Freezai) who focus more on featuring a team, explaining their decisions, and showing a few battles with it (2/4)
In general I suppose there's a few questions to ask the overall community (casual and comp), like what kind of content they would watch/want
And the more complicated question of what qualifies a person to make content--a lot of the vgc youtubers have *extremely* strong resumes (3/4)
Which I think super tangents off and I'm hitting bsky character limits haha but I like vgc and think it would be cool to have open conversations about the concept of content overall
(But back on the original topic, at least archiving everything in one place on youtube would be cool and help a lot)
