Personally I dont think a referendum, or rejoining, are viable right now.

But we should seek alignment and develop a longer term strategy to reintegrate with Europe and - perhaps - contribute to its transformation.

As they say in my new home 'rectificar es de sabios' ..which basically means that wise people correct their mistakes.
Brexit has cost the UK many £bn and for some it has cost us a lot more. Families who cannot live with ageing relatives because freedom of movement is no longer possible.

The referendum was lost. We have to build new allegiances and connections. How to create barriers against the right? How to unify the left? We don't do any of that by crying over lost battles. Lets fight the ones at hand! So what is the battle lines? a) Anti privatisation b) Anti corruption

It is good trade deals we need not enslavement in either the US (51 st State) or EU membership. The loss of trade with the EU is less than the EU fees would have been as members of the EU. There is a big world outside the EU.
