Good read as always and most shockingly taught me a new word at 40 years old. I didn't think I knew every word in the English language but new ones are always a pleasant surprise. I'm gonna try to use "perseverate" in place of "dwell" sometimes now that I know it exists

Throw it out the window is right Brian. Guhle return is certainly interesting. Struble is not the guy that sits. I don’t think that would send a very good message to this team. Also I think it would really hurt his development if he’s the guy that has to sit. He’s playing really well.

Do you think by the way the Habs played in St.Louis and their other 2 slow starts, that they are starting to look like the team before the 4 Nations Cup? Are they tired/gassed again? Imo, they'll dress 7 d to get Guhle back in. Roy will sit and Heniman will play up.

Great wrap up Brian. "Throw it out the window. That is what the players should do. " Agree with you on this. Maybe not forget it completely but move on to the next game in Philadelphia and avoid the mistakes done in this one. It’s a learning experience for sure.

great one. going to miss these. I need once a month 'Call of the Summer' updates. one weird thing - cannot sit struble with Hutson. correct. and it wouldn't look good with the team. what happens when you split them up, which will happen. I don't think he plays as well.

Thanks again Brian…Hutson definitely brings up the question weather scouts put too much emphasis on size. Also think the coach can convince Savard that it would be wise in sitting a few games to rest up for the playoff when Guhle comes back.

I was a huge Savard supporter earlier in the year, but he has had a rapid decline. He must sit if they're serious about making the playoffs. I am certain he will not.

Lane is amazing.

Concerning the scouts, I give them a bit of a pass here as the concern was he was so small he wouldn’t be able to play in the NHL at all.

A bit different than the typical granting lower value to smaller players.

Still, when the talent is that exceptional.. just glad it was us :)

Oh I know.. but this was an extreme case is my only point, don’t remember a kid walking around with medical papers trying to convince teams he was still going to grow :)
