Well done Paul. Thank you for what you do🙏🏻. With regard to the economic blackout I heard it suggested that we should do it every Friday. Sounds like a good idea. I think it could be done and have a real impact.
Texas Paul, Thank you!
I participated in the Black
Out and felt good. Didn't spend money or get on FB. There weren't many cars in the parking lot at a nearby
Walgreens on a Friday
evening like there usually
is!
It was fun not spending money, and I can’t wait to do it again. I spent my no shopping time reminiscing about when the USA was the leader of the free world.
Have a nice weekend bud.
Hey sis! I slipped 3 times. A lightbulb, 2 binders for the teen (I need them for biology, mom) and 2 seresto collars in 40 days. Down from 30 purchases a month.
Yes! And in between time starting now you can fight back by clicking on the link below to find a list of companies/brands that gave over 70% of their literal political capital to Rs. Don't spend your money with them.
Wanted to point out that Netflix CEO Reed Hastings is an outspoken supporter for the Democratic party, his donations include a $MM one on behalf of Netflix and have been to the Dem candidate down the line, including the H/W campaign during the federal election.
Understandable, rash moves are usually wrong. I will make this argument, all economic protests potentially cost jobs. That is the very point. If the Broligarchs lose enough business they will be forced to change course. That only happens with economic pain.
Time 4 the democrats 2 start going into the red districts that the GOP R running from. Folks R pissed & it's only going 2 get worse as the economy really begins 2 tank as well as our supply chains.

In quotes because I didn't think of this one, somebody on YouTube did, but I can't remember who. Credit where credit's due, which is certainly something chump and vance should learn.
Haven't been to a Walmart in years, antisemitic. Anyone knows if Aldi or Trader's Joe ok? I don't have local, small businesses around me for fruits and veggies. Need substitutes for Target and Publix.
I’m not buying what I need from now on.
This too shall pass and when the evil ones are gone we can try to get back to normal.

Stop shopping with large multi-national corporations all together. Cancel as many subscriptions and streaming services as possible. Save your money and invest in something like EMHY, a foreign bond ETF that will keep your money away from Trump.
Why is no one talking about " The Dark Enlightenment"? This is their playbook in action. Peter Thiel is the master manipulator for all of this chaos. What happened yesterday was just getting us one step closer to this becoming reality.
Not just one day for me! I cancelled Amazon/Meta on inauguration day and will boycott any and all companies or products supporting this coup. Democracy deserves more than one day. This includes all stocks in any companies either. I have liquidated my stock portfolio of traitors to democracy!!
I've canceled a lot of things, to the point that I was able to free up $1000/month in subscriptions, impulse buys, and streaming services. Not having free shipping from Amazon makes you think a lot harder about if you need it or not.
I've started to invest this money internationally as well.
Yes, you are correct… Little Marco Rubio looking like a child that just got his hand smacked. And then sitting next to JD Vance who look like he was wearing his my first suit which was way too small and then the orange fucker who was hiding his balls with his tie because it was so long. #Clowns.
We are at day 40 of our economic blackout. Nothing unnecessary has been purchased and we have an algorithm about what and where we buy. So far I slipped 3 times, bought a lightbulb, 2 binders and some fabric for Pajama pants, down from 30+ amazon purchases a month. Wish others would join.
I plan another No-Spend month of only necessary supplies. As spring is headed my way, I’ll buy vegetable plants from a small nursery this year. The GDP is reflecting our choices to not buy (in with other factors).
Thanks. I hope you can address, at some point, how we may move forward in future for those who have strong ties to our traditional allies, or have lived in those other countries. It is very painful and shamefully toxic to be seen as a pariah state. That regime does not represent us, full stop.
There is a week boycott planned for Amazon you'll be happy to know. I am going further than that, but I try not to preach. There are too many people already trying to control others. Firm believer in convincing not chiding.
The Amazon truck used to be at my house EVERY DAY and hasn't been here in months. Half the stuff I ordered I didn't need anyway, and the other half I now get from Costco.
I realize that not everyone has an abundance of local retailers and so just do what you can to shop local first as a rule.
Here is something you can do everyday. Click on the link below to find a list of companies/brands that gave more than 70% of their literal political capital to Rs. Don't spend your money with them.
The idea is for people to see how painless and easy this form of protest is, increase their frequency and add to the numbers. It's all about momentum. No single protest fixes all our problems but sustain boycotts will.
I think that Trump/Elon/GOP will keep testing the boundaries of the American people to the point protests and boycotts will no longer suffice. All authoritarian regimes do this. They break you down piece by piece. Right now news is being reported that the GOP wants to arrest AOC, and Trump called
the people protesting him at town hall meetings "paid troublemakers". We are also now being warned that social security checks may cease from going out soon. That will fill town halls quickly. Something has to give. I do not think America will survive long under this administration.
Add to that, Trump just cut off aid to Ukraine and LIFTED sanctions on Russia. I would not be surprised to see Trump provide money and equipment to Russia soon.
Switch to cash as much as possible and don't give the fees to the CC companies and banks.
We can each choose to do blackout days whenever they suit us. Shop local, locally owned businesses. Choose restaurants that are family owned. Use cash or checks.
Dropped Amazon Prime. That hurt, but there are other sources for all I buy. It just takes more effort.
Not one dime to Amazon, Whole Foods, Target, Walmart and every other company kowtowing to Trump.
Kroger (Harris Teeter), Costco, Trader Joe’s all kept their DEI initiatives. There are alternatives.
We don't need Congress to give the ultra-wealthy another, deeper tax cut. We can give them an even better one. If they have $0 income, then their tax bill will also be $0. We don't need to "Eat the Rich." We need to "Starve the Rich." Then watch how fast they try to get off the Forbes List.
I'm proud of us! Yesterday was a spark. Changing the consumer culture can impact so many areas and it is an accessible action for many. But we have to be persistent!!

March 21-28 Nestle boycott,
April 7-14 Walmart boycott,
April 18 total blackout #2,
April 21-28 General Mills boycott
Boycott Amazon 100% of the time because Jeff Bezos is a douche bag.
I realize that not everyone has an abundance of local retailers and so just do what you can to shop local first as a rule.
It feels great!
#CancelPrime
#AmazonBoycott
But, over the next 2-3 months, the week-long Walmart, Nestlé, General Mills and Target boycotts should definitely get their attention. 👍
