Here's what will happen. The baltic states will now have all their normal shipping via friendly territorial waters preventing the russians from doing this again.

What will likely happen now is that all shipping to and from russia will have their ships arrested.

Unlikely, Estonia have already decided to stop using the internationally agreed route that unfortunately traverses russian waters.

This is a one-off, russia can't do it again as there won't be any more vessels using their waters.

Rotterdam is a large oil selling bourse.

The cargo was Estonian shale oil.

Only went the route it did because that's the safe route for larger vessels without needing specialist pilots onboard.
