Gorgeous place! Try some hiking there are so many amazing paths!

Also avoid the famous fruit market in Funchal its a tourist trap you wilo pay x10 the normal price

Glad you told me that as in a fruit lover! I like to people watch, at the moment I’m not as mobile so I can’t do big walks. I think I’m just going to potter around so if I need to go back to the ship if my symptoms spike I can get back with ease: thank you for your help, I really appreciate it

Enjoy! We are off there for 10 days in July. First hotel holiday ever and first long holiday just with my husband of 29 years. It had better be good!
