I used to live across the street from him, I was in HS clubs with one of his daughters. He used to give the kids in the neighborhood comics for Halloween. I am devestated for his family right now.

My wife and I drove to Kansas City to meet PAD. He and I had corresponded a bit, and so we walked up to his table and said hello. Next thing we knew we were having lunch with him and trading baby pictures. :)
