#OnThisDay in 1964, Klansmen beat and drowned Henry Hezekiah Dee and Charles Eddie Moore, two 19-year-old Black Americans, in the Mississippi River. Moore's brother, Thomas, pushed for prosecution, and in 2007, Klansman James Ford Seale was finally convicted.
