Ruby-crowned Kinglet in our yard this morning, a first!

That’s the one bird we always had when we lived in the country that I failed to ever get a good photo of. I hope you fare better.

No photo 😕 was moving so fast in a tree it was hard just to get a visual confirmation after Merlin first picked up the song.

I've tried to photograph the Golden-crowned kinglet and they never sit still either!

plus it was a bit high up in a tree, so any decent photo would have been a challenge even if it was still for a second.
