I challenge your "that's just capitalism" attitude. We had similar discussions regarding Axel Springer employees for decades now... nobody needs to work for a company that's just plain evil.

Not sure if SpaceX and the blue thing fall into those categories, but their owners certainly do.

Though Many aerospace engineers in those companies and in NASA are MAGA or nearly so which I recognize is a different point but related in that they aren’t just altruistic techies who are thoughtful voters.

the one person I met who was former SpaceX, was pretty cool. She was an engineer and left because of the required 12 hour workdays. This was at Starbucks, where now they are doing cool engineering involving water being used in the most efficient way possible to make coffee.
