Hopefully they do not put 7kW chargers in 2hr timed and paid for parking spots. Nor use parking spaces that haven't been widened so only one car at a time can charge.
Just a couple of real issues I hit every time I test an EV. Always remember this when the 75K figure is bandied about.

Good news for EV drivers in the Midlands. Gov grant will enable 16,000 charger installs. Hopefully the right ones, in the right places to meet all user's needs.

Why I get angry over the happy clapping about the 75k number.
A hotel does not need one ultra rapid charger but a bank of 7kw for example.
Hopefully the penny will drop, but lots of money is being wasted putting the wrong chargers in the wrong places.
Also, I do get that supply constraints may hamper, but why say "max stay of 2hrs" for them?
Maybe we’ll get to utopia where every single parking space has a charger so you can endlessly graze electrons, in the meantime more thought is needed
