“A new analysis of private insurance claims data finds less than 0.1% of youth accessed puberty blockers or hormones for gender transition. This small group has garnered a huge amount of attention from Republican lawmakers in recent years.” https://n.pr/4jnIR0e?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR1A_RZ3ElOri-dlfNTd_mPwqghZrn0SXIGGkOpLR3XiyrmWToPYWYPXSI8_aem_88ygxEr--IOums6sQw1Nww

It's the difference between getting to be seen as who you are and having to deal with a lifetime of unnecessary dysphoria.

It determines for a lot of folks if they get to live the life they want or not. And sadly for a lot of people, given high rates of suicide etc., it's a matter of life and death.

What else is GOP going to talk about? They only have three policies:
Cutting taxes on the rich
Removing regulations that inconvenience the rich
"Privatizing" services to steal taxpayer dollars (ex. school vouchers)
We adults are next.
While arguing that the miniscule percentage of gun owners who commit mass shootings means we can ignore that issue.
Math challenges them.
More grown men receive gender affirming care (erectile meds, baldness treatments, man boob reduction, etc.) than teens receive care to transition.
However some of those hormone modifying drugs, that the GOP wants to ban for their Pharma buddies, have other life saving uses.
People who are missing Thyroids, or other organs required to sustain a person's life without these drugs would be receiving a death sentence.
And that has nothing to do with dance.
This is the same playbook at Abortion Choice.
Attention to important policy issues by politicians is always in short supply.
Misguided prioritization costs the public in multiple ways.
