Normally they'd want as much coverage as possible to promote the movie. If they're opting not to do that, it's either because they know the movie is terrible, or they're afraid of what people will ask them.
So no, it's a very bad sign.

Generally speaking it's usually a bad sign when there are no press screenings for a movie or TV show ahead of time. Usually you want them there to generate as much buzz as possible. There are exceptions to the rule, Mad Max Fury Road for instance.

They don't even know WHY they dig, it's just a fun hobby for them. Keeps them busy. They lead a simple but fulfilling life.
