Everything else aside, every single poll shows that the most Israel-skeptical bloc of Democratic voters are Black. Must be buying something. I think they're buying the "apartheid is bad" argument.

Most members of Congress who are critical of Israel are nonwhite and polls show that nonwhites are more critical of Israel or US support for it than whites, i think there's something of a pattern to be observed.
This strain of Liberals never seem to realize their using Black people as human cudgels is infantilizing and racist, inherently. Like this has been a strategy for years now (they did about Cuomo recently), and they will not reckon with this (most often white) racism.
In this case it's kinda weird because for all my dislike of Biden it is indeed undeniable that he was buttressed by Black support in 2020 and so and so forth. But likewise if we can admit this surely the likes of Jacobs can observe a single poll and see Black voters are more Israel-skeptical?
People often think of Israel-skeptical sentiment as strictly a progressive notion but up until even ten years ago progressives were resolutely pro-Israel. It should be clear by now that this is not merely a left-right strata issue within the party.
For folks like Jacobs, the Democratic Party cannot fail, it can only be failed, and black voters, since they are symbols of virtue rather than people, must axiomatically support the party leadership. Actual data is superfluous.
the strat seems to be 'black support for biden in 2020 means they love all the other stuff too' which is strange for many reasons up to and including black leaders were pissed with him as early as "giving agriculture to vilsack instead of fudge, and giving HUD to fudge when she didn't want it"
I mean I get that centrists want to dismiss anyone on the left as being unrepresentative of their demo, but the many people and groups in this coalition do actually exist and their voices count
That account for years has been desperate to drive a wedge within marginalized US populations, dissuading solidarity with the Palestinian people. I'm pleased to learn of how that hasbara distributor has had increasingly negligible impact
