My brother and I started this the other day... Seriously living up to and possibly surpassing the hype. It has set a gold standard for modern RPGs moving forward
It's incredible. It's definitely my game of the year. And there's some serious competition on that front. And it might be one of the greatest turn based games I've ever played. I'm even listening to the soundtrack at work.
I put like 15 hours into over the weekend. Absolutely hooked. And I’ve had basically no time to play at all the last few days and I’m itching to play. So frickin’ good. If I may be so bold…almost Elden Ring levels of art direction.
Beautiful vistas without a doubt in Expedition 33, but they are generally that, vistas. ER takes a much larger, open-world and ties them together in areas you can actually explore.
Art direction =/= open world. Elden Ring will always be the more “impressive” game for what it accomplished, but Expedition 33 on its visuals and art direction/skybox is the more beautiful game.
