Mad that we’ve needed these positions fixing for a while, hopefully they’ll finally be addressed.

Along with a couple more depending on departures, such as a WF, CB and possibly RB.

Agreed. LB feels quite straightforward. I’m quite curious as to what kind of 9 and CM/DM we will be after and feel like I have no clue what direction we will go in those positions.

I agree and LB style will depend on Trent too. If he goes we might find a more defensive RB easier to find and go for an attacking LB. If he stays maybe we go for a more defensive LB.

Agree on all of that. But I’m not sure what type of 9 he wants. Based on how we play currently I’d suggest a firmino style player ie joao pedro . But in a post salah world we will need more goals from 9.

Think midfield needs quite a bit of cover, slot clearly doesn’t fancy Elliot or Endo I think we need someone who is more like Dom (maybe rogers) and someone more like Grav.
CB will depend on Quansah but an established CB would be ideal

I have my doubts his fitness and appetite for english football will hold up. Wouldn't surprise me if he's packaged back to Serie A in the summer. I agree on LB, CM, and 9. Paramount.

I’ll admit that the Chiesa one was always odd, but I’m looking at it as a more long term thing until I know for sure it’s otherwise. There are the three we need as Rory said, & others we may need as reactions to player decisions etc, though.

DM is a more suitable Endo, maybe a young player with room to develop.

I know we have Bajcetic, McConnell and Nyoni (more attacking) but I doubt any are ready and might never be the right calibre.
