It genuinely makes me feel unwell. Turn social media off and read a book or something. It’s sick voyeurism to watch people at their most vulnerable minutes. Even sicker to print it. Some people have PTSD from the media images of themselves that never disappear & remind them of things

That is a really good question and I do wonder to what extent the govt can or should intervene. When you look back at some of those absolutely terrible front pages (The Scum) I would happily say yes. But we are not North Korea & must have a free press. Maybe bigger fines, some accountability?

Have to admit, I thought we'd generally got better at managing the media blackouts of situations in which violence is captured on video (formally and informally) and shared online for gratuitous purposes, to spread terrorism, whatever the intention.

Couldn't believe that when I saw they'd put it there. I haven't watched it there (unfortunately, I saw it on here in an autoplay video, and have been reporting the posts ever since).

Hopefully they have at least blurred or edited out the actual collisions. Horrible stuff 😞
