Totally ridiculous situation. 210,000 tickets and there’s a mad scrum to get them every single year. Much better to register your interest at any point in a given year, and assign all tickets on the day by lottery. Simple.
Do you have a better idea, or will we have headlines like “Glastonbury sells out in 6 minutes” by 2028? Maybe that’s part of the experience, but still impossible for people like me to get tickets.
I don't have a better idea no. Obviously there are many thousands of people that are successful in the current system as it sells out so quickly. What does 'people like me' mean though? There's no prejudice in which people are successful/unsuccessful. Albeit frustrating for the unlucky ones.
