Israel's IDF is fighting for their right to exist as a nation. Here's what US and allies did in a similar fight.
fyi.. After Tokyo was incinerated, Japan needed 5 more months of war and two atomic bombs to accept unconditional surrender. War is not camp.
However Palestine, which has existed for thousands of years unlike Israel's "barely 80", doesn't get such rights, even though they are guaranteed by international law.
The need to add "employer said" while @theguardian.com was parading the 40 beheaded babies all over its covers! Let’s make sure they know their complicity in this genocide! Let’s make sure media are named as the catalyst of the #PalestineHolocaust
Opened article to look if this "journalists" were Hamasians (which is normal in Gaza) - and here it is: "a strike on a vehicle with an Islamic Jihad terrorist, steps were taken to mitigate the risk of harming civilians.”
Being part of Hamas making them perfectly valid military target for Israel
Yes, that is usually the excuse, and it’s very handy that Israel gets to decide who has “ties to Hamas,” which conveniently includes everyone they decide to kill.
It`s not the excuse - after 7 oct the depth of Hamas influence over civilians and degree of coercion in Gaza is quite obvious. They effectively use civilian activity as a cover for crimes - "journalists", "doctors", etc etc.
Imho this is sufficient to put blame on Hamas, not Israel. Israel can not do the miracles, expecting him to fight extensive terrorist organization with human shielding, suicidal bombers and stuff with hands tied is unreasonable. And it`s parents responsibility to keep children away from mil. targets
Those weren’t journalists. They might have owned press jackets but they worked for a militants group’s propaganda outlet. Call it a targeted civilian strike, which I still condemn, but considering them journalists puts real journalists at more risk.
Sick trolls. It’s sad when risk to the lives of people trying to get information out of dangerous places are the consequence. They don’t care, they’re just here to play games from their sofa.
Helps me what, be ok with you being ok with endangering real journalists m? I don’t get you, you think you’re progressive but you’re not really, just selectively.
Militants propaganda outlet these guys get dumber and dumber each day 🤣🤣 shit does excuse it propaganda outlets doesn't allow for missiles to be sent to the press if that was the case all the outlets in Russia would be stricked if Ukraine did it it would be called as so if Russia did it as well.
In no court would this pass as not being war crimes with that excuse neither in the U.S the U.S is a lost cause by not condemning this. The U.S is showing it's true colors to all.
I’m highly uneducated on this topic, but I feel like the whole situation in gaza has gotten sort of out of hand no? Like CBS news the other day was showing images of famine in gaza and reminds me of the Holodomor in Ukraine in the 30s.
Because 7 hyper-rich people are making even more money off it, and our government are little more than paid-off stooges/slaves to the corpocracy that's *actually* in charge around here.

War is immoral. And sometimes necessary.
Go lie down in a bonfire.

Sounds like you're saying Israeli "journalists" are fair game.
Wasn't there to be a big investigation why Israel completely let their guard down and more or less let it happen?
"Strategic Negligence"
Debating IDF's intelligence gathering now? Really?

Also, Israel was attacked by Yemen and hence struck back.
It is baffling how manipulating the Guardian always presents articles, when they deal with Israel.
It is hard to trust you.
