Works for both. WADA get a bigger suspension instead of losing. Sinner gets a suspension no worse than a moderate injury, allowing him to play the Slams and prepare for them.
Convenient but probably acceptable as I am satisfied with his explanation.
I understand that as an athlete you are responsible for what you ingest and what is used in your body. This is professional sports, why would your team be using an illegal cream? Next it will be the meat. 🧐
I believe sport is dead as a
whole if rules are not up held! I never used the word ‘cheater’. This is not an amateur team around him. They would know what can and cannot be used in pre and post preparation for a match or training. How and why does his ex physio have this substance?
Ok, I have nothing against you. My issue is with those who don’t even read and call someone a fraud on principle. That said, I’m very far from your opinion: it’s the WADA rules that are absurd. (Contnue)
Andrea, please tell us you’re not stupid enough to buy Sinner’s total horseshit excuse, right? I’m gonna assume from your name that you’re Italian, which definitely explains your bias. But only a fucking moron would believe Sinner’s lies.
There you go, you’re the kind of person (or troll) with whom it’s impossible to have a discussion. The facts have been established by courts and science. If you want to keep adding more, go ahead, but I won’t respond.
from the WADA press release:
"WADA accepts that Mr. Sinner did not intend to cheat and that his exposure to clostebol did not provide any performance-enhancing benefit and took place without his knowledge as the result of negligence of members of his entourage."
The best outcome all round to satisfy honour on both sides. Crucially WADA have accepted that Jannik had no intention to cheat. He has conducted himself impeccably and with dignity throughout and I wish him all the best from here on .
Most of the people we've seen in similar situations come up with childish excuses when they test double positive, and now they've settled it with a ridiculous sanction just to get away from the issue. Nobody believes Sinner, by the way—Wawrinka is one of us.
Not saying he’s not. What was found was minimal though and the trainers involved were fired.
I was commenting on the timing and duration.
If it were a lower level player would probably have gotten a harsher fine.
Sinners performance timeline is undeniably linked with the positive tests. Doesn’t take a forensic scientist to deduce what happened and what’s going on within Italian tennis
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 that’s right. Absolutely nothing to report about a guy who suddenly has levels of fitness that nobody can touch….. absolutely just a coincidence …….
I am Norwegian and is a supporter of Casper Ruud, but I do not like to see athletes getting their life destroyed by mistakes done by others. I belive in his story. It seems legit if you look at the amount of drugs found in his system.
On the day he was tested……. Like I say. The timeline says it all. Massive performance spike coincides with positive tests. Drug cheat accusations are based in fact. His denials are fantasy.
When fine margins matter a lot, a little boost makes such a difference. You’ll hardly find much support within tennis for Sinners position. Had a great lawyer. He knew that mattered

WADA acknowledged that:
- Sinner DID NOT INTEND TO CHEAT
- The substance entered his system WITHOUT HIS KNOWLEDGE due to negligence by his support team
- The quantity of clostebol in Jannik Sinner's system DID NOT ENHANCE his performance
"Yeah, what a bunch of suckas!"
The guy has been a topp tennisplayer for years
