YouTube Premium is the best value of all the streaming services, imo. I dropped Netflix & got that instead. More presenters are using sponsors than before (“todays video is sponsored by … now I’ll talk about them for a minute”) but there are never any YouTube inserted commercials.

Yes. My sub gives me ad-free YouTube (obviously doesn't do anything about baked in sponsors) and YouTube music, which I objectively prefer to Spotify. Its playlist algorithm is moronic, but that means it's less invasive, and I create my own lists anyway.
I have the Family plan and it's around $24/mo i think but you get 5 accounts.
Being able to listen to long form lectures, old radio shows, and watch movies without ads makes it worth it.
The interface is awful. I couldn’t even find this song while searching. Had to go back and get the original link to listen to it.
But I’ve never been a YT fan. Something about the look of it just feels half-finished. Lots of my friends use it, but I’m clearly not the target market.
