Before anyone comes at me with 'it's not that hard bro', just remember I said I dislike these things to begin with. Again, BOTW didn't feel overwhelming about it in a way that TOTK does, so it didn't irritate me as much.
Yes, TOTK is a sequel, but it's arguably standalone. Not all players beat BOTW

I had a feeling I wouldn't like TOTK as much as BOTW, but I didn't think I'd outright hate it.
Yeah, without a decent amount of health and armour, you're gonna get taken out *really* fast. Couple that with weapons being destroyed in just a few hits, it can be needlessly difficult to just kill normal enemies.
I didn't have anywhere near this issue with BOTW. TOTK feels like it's just 'yeah well here's the Master Quest mode from the get-go. Get gud scrubs!'
Once things "click", the game can be really fun (even if I still just do not like the durability system this and BotW have).
The game is hinting to me that non-rusted weapons are only in the Gloom, too. Ughhghghgh.
It has Breath of the Wild to thank for its core foundation, but there are so, so many small things that build the experience up to something magical for me.
Can’t wait to finish BOTW again to replay TOTK in 60fps
