This was part of a bigger compilation/vent piece I did. Since the pose was directly referenced from Bowser's Inside Story promo art, I figured might as well try to emulate the rendering style.
Legit, The Mario & Luigi series' promo art has got to be my favorite in the entire franchize.
The specific piece I referenced had Mario carrying Luigi. So Frisk does take the role as Mario. It also is in line with the body types. Frisk is short and stout and Kris is thin and lanky.
Oh yee yee mine too I used to love playing these games as a kid (superstar saga, partners in time and bowsers inside story). And you definitely nailed it, very recognizable
