Then I had to repatch someone’s organic network cables and I was sad because I realised chaos can make your fingers bleed.
I also hated crimping tools and pre-RJ45 in large network environments.
I was literally a professional cable manager in the 20th century, "Systems Integrator" if you want to make it sound like you need a degree. Did a lot of work at U of M and the ceilings there were like a history of networking - ThickNet with "Vampire Taps", WANG cables, a wiring rats nest
We have good relations with our friend rope and guillotine blades are nearly onside, if only we could convince them that they be nothing without rope..
