I'm surprised there is devs out there that are using WordPress while they can actually use something like laravel 😀 No offense, but tools like WordPress feels like a huge struggle to me.

#Laravel is excellent at many things, but building some things in it would be quite time consuming in comparison to just dropping in a WordPress install. If #WordPress were to switch to using Laravel, that'd bring the best of both worlds, but I suspect that will never happen unfortunately.
WordPress comes with a pre-built easy to use editor, excellent legacy support etc. I'm loving #Laravel, but it's not a replacement for it in most cases.
There is CMS's for Laravel too 😁 the main difference is that frameworks like Laravel are made for all kinds of applications. Whereas WordPress is really designed for only one purpose.
Give me a couple of years and maybe I'll be sitting on my high horse rubbishing my former colleagues over in WordPress land though. I've seen that happen before when people jumped ship to a more modern platform.
It's made for the most common purpose though 😜 I'm growing a love/hate relationship with #WordPress these days. Frameworks like #Laravel are awesome, but they have significant downsides too, when it comes to less complicated tasks.
