I think for me when I watch Star Wars media I want the force, light sabers, or at least a strong connection to the lore related to the main characters from the movies. I didn't get that from Andor.

Yeah this series is almost explicitly about what it takes to stand up to the Galactic Empire when you don’t know space wizards even exist. But i do feel it fills in the gaps around why anyone would bother mounting a rebellion in the face of Palpatine’s dominance.

I get it and thanks for the explainer. When I first watched it I'll be honest, my first thought was, "This is just Disney making more Star Wars bs because they think if it's labeled Star Wars anybody will watch it." and I noped out.

I hope you nope back in if to haven’t. Andor 2 really builds to an amazing peak; I think it’s the best Star Wars yet.
