Homeowner policies are going to be sky rocketing across the country from this disaster. Many have already dropped their policies because of rate increases caused by the hurricanes and floods. Insurers have made a killing for years. They should have invested profits to help fight climate change!

Please remember that even in California, the middle class is disproportionately affected by climate disasters. There are luxury homes in the hills and luxury homes on the beach. In between are family homes and apartments that house all those people who are the backbone of our working class.
