Nice to meet you. I don't have a substack, so I hope you don't mind the question here: whatever happened with telemeres? I thought they found that was the key to aging. But recently I heard they ran into some issues?

Lots of research is still happening here. My take is that other other problems will most likely catch up with you well before telomere shortening. They do matter, but less than other things.

not to mention those at home,like myself, trialing and erroring on themselves and charting progress or regression with the help of their doctors, labs, bloods, and medical imaging. of course noting environmental elements as well as mental health and stress.

same. it's a interesting quest of self improvement. the "dont die" thing came along a few months back and i appreciate what Johnson is doing, but my takeaway is that there is a natural loss or break even in ROI, in terms of quality of life at current vs the type of life in the triple digits.
