Also. When she has 6 high school athletes working during the last spring of their high school career (for example), she changes the business hours so they can keep their jobs *and* play.
...and then all the local high school and college teams give her catering orders. And then all the visiting teams hear about her and call ahead to feed *their* teams.
Being good to your people pays off, especially in small towns.
It’s amazing how many restaurants give off a cheap ass vibe nickel and dime-ing every damn thing. I figure if they are cheap with customers, who knows how shitty they treat their workers.
