My (ex) wife is disabled, and it's amazing how many places just don't seem to want our money. Rarely anything accessible, and often bad treatment. Can't tell you how many places have said they won't serve her because they think she's drunk (she's legally blind), before they ask anything.

"Sorry" don't feed the bulldog. Especially when they do this frequently. Sounds like they need to feel this in their wallets. I haven't seen the inside of one in ages, and after this, I don't intend to now. Their food is crap these days, from what I understand.

Food service workers are not trained in ADA like they should be, I got kicked out of a McDonald's for having my guide dog with me. I'm blind. When I complained to the franchise owner, he told me he doesn't allow dogs in the restaurant. When I took it to corporate they sent me back to the franchisee

Just googled"Cracker Barrel scandals."🤨No Cracker Barrels where I am,so I was unfamiliar 'til my van trip.They let RVers sleep in their lot,so are on all the vanlife apps. I felt guilty a cpl times for not ordering their food when I stayed. Not anymore.

(The one time I did order food,it was awful.)

I had a boyfriend that did this, taking 18+ disabled adults out to learn life skills. A lot of places don't want them there. Good on the school system for raising a fuss.

So they were informed days prior to the visit, and rather than politely turn them down, which would have allowed the school to make alternative plans, Cracker Barrel thought the best route would be to let them rock up and publicly humiliate them. May your stock value get flushed down the toilet.

I worked at a Barrel for 3 years. This old regular walked in one day. We were going to seat him in the first dining room (closest to store.) He saw a Black woman serving that area and he straight up said, “why isn’t she in the back room?” Did we kick him out? Of course not.
