It seems like they think telling the most obvious lies, lies that everyone recognizes as such, is a power move or something. But it isn't, it just shows that nobody's driving the ship. So organized resistance is actually pretty effective against this discombobulated terror machine

Right now our best hopes of averting a descent into authorianism (and a massive economic recession ) lies in a small number of sane and righteous GOP judges and politicians as well as those of their constituents that see the writing on the wall
We need an FDR ("We have nothing to fear but fear itself") and a Churchill ("Never, never, never give up") to fight this regime. IDK about including a Stalin.
The older I get, the fewer universal truths there are. One of them is that bullies are deathly afraid of a fair fight. Being a bully is the ultimate expression of insecurity.
